Community Voices Clinic (CVC)
The CVC Mission
To provide free, multi-culturally-competent therapy services to children, adults, and families residing in South Bethlehem, especially those who would otherwise be unable to access services due to being uninsured, underinsured, or under financial strain.
About the CVC
Community Voices Clinic
The Community Voices Clinic (CVC) is a school-based mental health clinic operating within the family centers at Donegan Elementary and Broughal Middle schools.
The CVC was formed in 2012 through a partnership between the Bethlehem Area School District, St. Luke’s Health Network, and Lehigh University's Counseling Psychology program.
The clinic is overseen by Dr. Susan Woodhouse, a licensed psychologist and Associate Professor. The clinical director is Dr. Chere' Hunter, a counseling psychologist, and Counseling Psychology faculty member.
The CVC embraces core tenants of Counseling Psychology including evidence-based practice, multicultural competence, and social justice in all of its activities.
