Dr. Speck and Dr. Wittrock will discuss five major topics including:
  1. The Educational Structure of the German School System
  2. Teacher Training Programs in Germany
  3. The Special Education System in Germany
  4. Research: Main Research Interests in Education at the Faculty I 
  5. Research Focus: Our Research Interests in Special Education
They will start with a short introduction about the educational system in Germany and their Faculty I, Educational and Social Sciences in Oldenburg and about the profession "Special Ed Teacher."
 
The participants will receive an overview about the German situation and this how it is different from Pennsylvania. In the second part of the presentation they will present the different research areas they have in the educational part of our college in general and about their interests in research in special.
